It's Christmas Day!!!

It's Christmas day!!!.. Since I Slept so early, I woke up early too.. around 7am.. went strolling and breakfast with mum. While walking, we past by a playground & this two "old woman" was fascinated to see the swing and both got up & swing & swing & swing... hehe.. we seriously enjoyed it.. I jokely told mum "will we be "caught" on stomp!!!" hehe..

Mum, dad, me & darling had lunch with Tailou & CK @Jurong point.. & went shopping for our Dinner gathering...*Woo Hoo*

Hello Hello.. Merry Christmas & A happy New Year!!

Time files....

I knocked off @ 2.30pm on Christmas's eve. I had a X'mas celebration in office with our MM team. I am part of the organizing party.. hmm... it was a successful party as most of them enjoyed the good food & games with full of laughter. I'm so blessed, I gotten a lot of presents from my colleagues - I'm really thankful!!!

As for my dearest darling... he has to work on Christmas' Eve, after I knocked off, I went home to hand over the car to him, it's a rainy Christmas' eve, it not safe for him to ride even thou the rain stops by then. Hmmm... Don't be surprise, I have not get him any gift yet!! he-he

I went home, handed over the car, changed & walked to Jurong point with my mummy (dearest & most beloved)...in attempt to get him Xmas gift. First I gotten him 2 Polo-Shirt, for CNY (haha, I know i'm Kiasu)... then a Oakley specs.. :) *contented*

When I reached home, darling called... he is coming home soon... :) he finished his stuff. So I quickly wrap the presents and packed our room and placed the presents at a prominent location.. hehe..

I waited like 45mins... HE is back!!! He walked into our room & the 1st sentence he said " Why is there presents? For who huh!!?? Why got Oakley :P" ha-ha.. he always reminded me not to spend monies on "branded" stuff for him so... I said " Oakley is from auntie (my mother)!!!" hahahahaha...but he jolly well know is from me to him lar.

Before he open the presents, he when to the wardrobe to dig out a present and a card for me.. I was surprise because we initially agree not to get anything for each other.. hehe..

He opened the presents i bought & tried on the Polo-T. Polo-T fits nicely but the Oakley looks abit weird on his face hehe.... but is ok lar we are allow to change the next day.. :).. Then followed by me to open my card & my gift... *so touched*.

when I open the gift, its a Japanese chocolate biscuit, it looks delicious to me..

Darling said: "bring out & share it with your parents.."

(Mum & dad is having dinner at that time)

Mum asked "is it the same one on the dining table?"

Darling said: "yes, but different favor, darling you open yours lar."

I said: "okie."

When I opened......I saw a SK Jewellery box!!.. He "lied" hahahahaha, the biscuit on the table is from this box, he bought the box, took out the biscuit & wrap the SK Jewellery box into the biscuit box lor.. IT WAS A REAL FUNNY SURPRISE!!! Darling Thank you & I love you!! he bought me a necklace.. (Thanks darling, I really don't want you to spend this much for me)

Good cooling weather on Christmas's eve... I'm tired & i slept at 9plus haha~ A Early Merry Christmas to all ya.. :P

Taiwan, 5th to 12th Dec 2008 with Dynasty Travel..

We just flew back from Taiwan... it is a 8 days all around Taiwan package tour with my dearest darling & my future P.I.Ls (Parents In Laws)...

Day 1:

We reached TaoYuan Airport @ 5pm, thereafter we had Japanese Yakiniku Smokeless dinner, visited Lover's Bridge at the Fisherman's Wharf and Tamsui. Stayed in a super shiok hotel - Alive Rigimen Hotel, its room is with a big Jucuzzi pool which can accomodate me & my darling (*wink* u can imagine how "big" it is huh?!!?? hehe)

Day 2:

From Taipei -> Taichung

-Yehliu Scenic Area with natural rock formations.

-Lunch in Yingge old street, lunch was served with handmade ceramic bowl, we are allow to bring home the ceramic bowl as souvenir after that. (A place that sells alot of ceramic stuff, we are given 2 hrs to shop around, apparently it just too much for us hehe)

-Dinner @ Feng Jia night market. (eat eat eat.. good place to eat)

hotel: Plaza International Hotel

Day 3:

From Taichung -> Alishan National Forest Park -> Kao Hsiung)

-It is a 4 hrs bus ride up to Alishan *tiring* but the weather is really nice.. cold breeze & fresh air. We had our lunch at Alishan.

-Dream Mall, the mall has a hello kitty ferris wheel. (we didnt take this ride since Singapore have the tallest ferris wheel *proud lei* hehe)

- Sin Jiao Jiang Night market.

Hotel: Jendow International

Day 4 :

From Kao Hsiung -> TaiTung

- Fo Guang Shan @Kao Hsiung

- afterwhich a long hour bus ride to TaiTung hotspring hotel.

Hotel: Hotel Royal Chihpen (with A-Mei clan performance)

(another super good hotel with hotspring bath tub inside our hotel room)

Day 5:

TaiTung -> Hualien

(4hrs ride from TaiTung to Hualien)

- Had lunch @ doyong and then vist Taroko Gorge

- "shop" @ Ling zhi shop & Marble factory.

*Hualien has alot of natural resources - marble and have a famous buddhism Charity hospital - Tzu Chi Hospital*

Hotel: Herb SPA Resort with a Soap DIY session in the evening.

(a Chalet like hotel with flower plantation, nice place but got millipedes, probably it is a flower plantation but afterall its a nice and peaceful enviroment)

Day 6:

Hualien -> Chiufen (Taipei)

(we took a 2hr19mins train ride from Hualien to Chiufen (Ruifang station), the tour guide told us if we take bus, it will be 5hrs drive. When we reach chiufen, the bus driver is still on his way to meet us, so we took public bus from the station up to Chiufen!!! we have lunch and shop around there... we simply love Chiufen even thou its my second time there..

- we left Chiufen around 3pm, head towards "Zhong Lie Chi" to see the soldier duty change over.

- Taipei 101

- Dinner @ Shilin night market.

Hotel: Fortune Haiyatt Hotel (near to Taipei Train station)

Day 7: Taipei

- National Palace Museum

- Tienlu Handicraft Centre (We gotten 2 Tienlu for ourselves)

- Miramar Entertainment Park. It a shopping mall with Ferris wheel too.

- Shop for Sun biscuit & Pineapple tarts.

- Dinner @ Ximenting :)

Hotel: Fortune Haiyatt Hotel

Day 8: *F&E*

- We woke up 8plus in the morning & had breakfast opposite our hotel, checkout & walked to taipei train station to the underground shopping & had our lunch @ 2nd floor of taipei train station, the 2nd floor consist of alot of resturants, lotsa choices *impressive*.

Set off from Taipei a around 3pm for our 6pm flight....

*Home sweet home*

A tiring but enjoyable trip... we are just like hotel "hopping" every night.. Taiwan is a simply wonderful place.

Hmmmm...Thinking now..... any mid year break next year...???? *wink*

Oh Ya.. Xmas is coming.. lotsa party coming up too... :)

Happy Deepavali!!..

Today is a public holiday... *Woohoo* another day of rest for all of us... Today me & darling, daddies & Mummies visited the flyer. Hmm.. it was drizzling during our 1/2hr ride but afterall its a good experience... Took some photos to share.. Check it out!... Glad that both our parents enjoyed the ride... :)

We attended a seminar on last sunday. The seminar is "Staying in love with your spouse" by Dr Pat Love.

YearBook Me & My Darling

Today, a cloudy Sunday morning, I'm kinda free because no "marketing". Darling woke up early to buy us breakfast...*mauckz*.. after eating, he went back to sleep again.. haha, i was surfing facebook & realised alot of my friends created a yearbook.. i find it kinda cute & went in to create for me & my darling... its really cute & Funny... i was laughing my head off (see pic).. hehe..Check it out on http://www.yearbookyourself.com/

Kelong Trip 27 Sep 08 to 28 Sep 08

4.30am my alarm clock rang, I opened my eyes thinking to myself *Why so early today??* Oh ya, its my kelong trip.... Meeting Tailou, CK, Alf, Bennie, James & Adrian at West Coast Mac @6am, taking a mini van to the jetty.

Me, my darling (deqing), Mum, dad, Tailou, CK, Alf, Bennie, James & Adrian is going to a Kelong Getaway!!!!!...

Hmm.. Kelong.. 1st thing that come to my mind is the toilet, a "Steamboat" style of toilet.. while the toilet is without the bowl, just a hole, u just have to do your business there and all your bowel are trap by a wire mesh where fishes are they enjoying it *eeeeck*~ but surprisingly, this kelong's toilet is not too bad, they are with toilet bowl... But after flushing the "output" still goes into the deep blue sea...!!! :P i confess, i shitted twice during my stay there.. haha~

Maybe you should see the sleeping area, it's those wooden double decker bed.. me & deqing, Alf & ben sleeping at the lower deck while james & adrain, Tailou & CK is above us... wow... whey they move, we have fear that the upper deck will collaspe... when we move, james feels like tsumani is coming!!! haha~

One of the program of this getaway was island hopping. We (10 of us) took speedboat to a isolated island.. tailou & CK when snorkeling, they showed us seacucumber and its my 1st time to see a living seacucumber... hmmm... it looks like my darling Black SAF socks... while they snorkel, the rest when to explore the island, rocky island (island full of rocks).. It was so darn hot, we spent like 3 hrs there & we are all tanned & burnt.. the speedboat "driver" suppose to pick us at 4.30pm, but he was late & very late, he came around 5plus, 10 of us on the isolated island made me think of survivor haha! He was late because the water is too choppy, its too dangerous to "speedboat" us. During our journey back was a scary one, the water condition is seriously choppy, at a point the speedboat nearly capsize *gosh* we are all scare but all of us just act brave!!...

Afterall the trip was fun, although no fish luck but "Adventurous" one... the companion was great.. Thanks all for accomodating my parents...not "isolating"them cos they are old.. hehe... think u guys are really great!!.. My parents enjoyed themselves, i believe they had feel young again!...

Looking forward to the next trip~

Today.. Its a Thurday, i go to work as usual... Thanks Evelyn & the rest of my new collegues, they got me a surprise in office.. They bought me a cake & all of them gather to have a little celebration for me.. *coolz*.

Surprise goes like this... After lunch, Lisa told me there is a ad-hoc meeting (its was a trick)..I was like blur blur , while I was entering the room, then I realised..... Its a MANGO BIRTHDAY CAKE for me...

Hmmm.. I would like to specially thanks Evelyn.. It must be her idea! :)

Darling & I...had a simple dinner at Jurong Point @ Crystal Jade - La Mian.. hehe.. he bought me a laptop as birthday present..(which I'm currently using it to blog *Winkz*)

My Dear JingTing make me a card.. haha.. drawn a cat look alike Doraemon *haha*..

Bro & Sis-In-law give me Ang pao for me to "Grown "bigger" & healthier".. :P

Wenhao & wendy bought me a cute couple pillow cover..

Our 4th Anniversay!..

Today (21-Jul-08) is our 4th Anniversary...!!!

Frankly, I nearly forgot its our anniversary... He been telling me few days ago that he will bring me out for dinner without telling me the venue (It's his 1st time wor).. reminded me again not to make any appointment this sunday evening (20-Jul).. *Wink*

I was like Orh ok.. I'm thinking to myself.. hmm what is he up to.. Hmm..

He brought me to Absolute Haven (http://www.absolutehaven.com.sg/) @70, Prinsep Street.. they serve modern European Cuisine..

The food is nice & we had wine.. (see pix of what we ordered)..

The ambience is good.. they on good romantic music..

& Oh ya.. Phyllis the Operations Manager, really appreciate her attentive service & her thoughts...

Its S$10 for 1/2 hr.. took some pictures..

Oh ya.. u will only see my fat foot.. hehe.. cos i'm the only one enjoying the fish spa.. Mum & dad & my darling is not interested la.. So i'm the only one enjoying the "kisses"...

Its Mother's Day!!! 11-May-08

It's mother's day! & its also my brother's 24th birthday.. Mum suggested to eat at home.. & we suggested that we cook like buffet style.. Curry, fried Mee Hoon & some fried stuff to celebrate this event.. We even invite "other" mum to join this celebration.. & some friends..

My Long Journey with Mr Chan *_*

Somehow and rather we got this picture really late.. hmm...

We took our 1st full Marathon in Dec 2007!!!...

It is really a mental & physical "torture" for me.. On my 30++ Km, i am really tired & hungry, & i think abit depress or dunno what, I felt tears in my eyes when i thank him for his company on this Marathon... Hmm i really thank him for this wonderful "journey".. seriously, if not him i don't think i will complete it...

I uploaded picture on the "reason for running the Marathon".. We designed something which i think it is sweet & believe it bring alittle pleasure to some of the other Marathon'er becos' during the run, a couple of them praised us for it..

*I wonder if we will do it again??* thinking..................

Malaysia: Genting, 18 Apr 08 ~ 20 Apr 08

Hello hello... I think this is a overdue blog.. i suppose to update after my trip but drag till now.. today, i gonna post a few more blog on some events update.. Read on ya...

We go with .. My parents / Alf & family, Alf's Sister & family... It was a fun trip.. initially Alf & I was still worried how would the "chemistry" turn out to be.. But.. *Phew* everything was fine.. & my parents got a few more friends.. hehe..

This time we didnt drive our "Ms" Chan Bee Lee up to Genting.. we read up the forum, it will be too "tiring" for our car since it is full load. So we drove Tailou's Grand Vitara up.. Thanks darling.. its bigger & more comfortable esp for my parents...

I gotten the old genting route.. looks scary lor.. but now the road condition is so much better...

Its been i think 10 years since i visited genting.. hmm ok lar...eat eat gamble gamble eat eat sleep sleep.. haha.. it's not as cold as we think, maybe is summer this time, the weather is consider warm.. Mr Chan was still sweating while doing shopping haha... Oh Gamble Gamble.. all of us lose $$ there haha.. No luck boy!

Trips in 2008 - Penang & KL Driving Getaway

2008 trips till today:

We had our car for 3 years.. this is our 1st year we drove her out of Singapore..

It is really exciting esp driving up to Penang.. it is a total of 16hrs drive in our 1.3 Getz..Hard on "her"!!!...

She is really good & deserve a Pat on "her" shoulder!!! haha~

Both of us drove up to Penang to attend STMah's Wedding...

He is a real nice person.. he brought us around during our last trip to penang in 2005..

Taiwan in July & Cambodia in Dec..

It is my 1st time in Taiwan & I love it.. July period is summer.. hmmm Yup it is HOT...

We went there with Tailou, MCT, Yoz Yoz.. during this trip got to know Ah Yee - Nita..

she is a taiwanese, she accompanied us thru out the whole trip.. Very kind of her to bring us around.. she even brought us to experience a local wedding lunch... an eye-opening one for all of us... the cultural differences.. *wow*

This trip Mr Chan bought me my1st coach handbag *mauck*

Spent my 1st Christmas out of Singapore.. CAMBODIA.. hmm.. *A Christmas Gift From Him*

Ang Kor Wat is Spectacular.. it is a MUST go once in a life time...

Other than that.. it is good to experience Cambodia..

Oh Ya another 2 MUST go is S21 n Killing field to see Cambodia during Khmer Rouge time... it is saddening & Scary!!

Trips in 2005 - Bangkok & Penang cum Langkawi

Woke up 5.30am this morning *yawn* to pay respect to my late great-grand parents.

For those who doesnt know, this period of time is "tomb sweeping".

We need to go to their tomb to clean & to do prayers.

Ok back to the embarkation of Mr & Mrs Chan: Our 2005 trips~~

Bangkok which is the capital of Thailand is a shopping paradise~ Went there with dearest "sis" Tailou** & Company.. Eat, shop, Eat, shop, Eat.. O ya + drinking~

Penang cum Langkawi, we flew to penang by SQ, hmm,.. its only 45mins journey by air.. Went there with Mr Chan & my parents to attend "sister" Yee Cher's wedding (Celestica).. & since Langkawi is so near to penang island which is about 2 hrs ferry ride from Penang...

we took a 1 day land package tour to experience Langkawi!!!

Our love story started in 2004 July... this is our 1st 2 trip.. Bintan Bintan.. haha~ in fact we went to Bintan for 3 times in 2004..
